FULL-TIME – I.T. Help Desk – EL MONTE BRANCH

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:   Provide end-user support on company-provided computer applications and platforms.  Troubleshoot problems and advise on the appropriate action.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Respond to technical assistance requests in person, via phone & electronically
  • Support company browser & App based applications on desktop & mobile platforms
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
  • Support and maintain peripheral equipment such as printers and copiers
  • Research questions using available information resources
  • Update and create troubleshooting and procedural documentation
  • Administer & utilize help desk software
  • Root cause problems and escalate to correct resources if needed
  • Track and route problems & requests. Document resolutions
  • Prepare activity reports
  • Review and maintain system logs and alerts
  • Trend recurring problems and engage resources to permanently resolve
  • Stay current with system information, changes and updates

Education and Experience

  • Three to five years of similar or related experience
  • Working knowledge and troubleshooting skills in:
    • MS Windows OS (7 & 8)
    • Apple OS (OSX)
    • MS Office applications (2007 & 2010)
    • Mobile platform OS:  (Android & Apple IOS)
    • Browser applications (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari)
    • PC and thin client hardware
  • Related experience and training in troubleshooting and providing help desk support
  • Knowledge in helpdesk tracking application (Teamwork)
  • Knowledge in VMware View a plus

FULL-TIME I.T. Network Administrator – EL MONTE BRANCH

ROLE:  Responsible for daily operation and maintenance of network systems, servers, operating systems, and communication links. Manage the resources dedicated to supporting office automation, PC’s and end user equipment in accordance with credit union policies and regulatory requirements.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Provide primary support for the Credit Union’s LAN network, servers, PC’s and terminals which includes implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting network and system hardware and software.
  • Monitor and maintain patch management of all operating systems, firmware, apps and applications
  • Evaluate network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, and latency; planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment. Maintains network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning, troubleshooting network problems, and escalating problems to vendor.
  • Defines and develops network policies and procedures
  • Oversees the maintenance of hardware and software at the Credit Union’s disaster recovery site and provides technical support for disaster recovery testing.

Education and Experience

  • Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
  • Equivalent to a college degree (BS or BA in a relevant field).
  • A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating, influencing or training others. Outside contacts are important along with fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals).
  • Progressive experience in supporting virtual Infrastructure PC/LAN hardware, software and communication products.
  • Experience with VMware VSphere & View, Server 2008R2 and above, PC system administration, LANs, Patch management tools, TCP/IP, telecommunications and WANs.
    Ability to discuss technical issues effectively with other data processing professionals as well as non-technical users.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Understanding industry standards regarding system and network security.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with other I.S. personnel, vendor support staff and users.

TITLE:  Full-Time Teller – El Monte Branch

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:  Accurately perform member transactions via mail and in person.  Assist members with account questions and transactions as well as accurately negotiate the sale of non-monetary instruments such as money orders, gift cards and amusement park tickets.  Recognize fraudulent checks and counterfeit currency.  Answer Member Service calls as needed with a positive, upbeat attitude.  Work efficiently and accurately.

QUALIFICATIONSThe candidate must possess outstanding communication skills while demonstrating a positive, upbeat attitude with the ability to deliver outstanding service both in person and on the telephone. The candidate must also be able to demonstrate the ability to handle confidential information with the utmost integrity.  Previous cash-handling skills preferred.
