FULL-TIME TELEPHONE MSR/TELLER
EL MONTE BRANCH

Certified Federal Credit Union is seeking an experienced and motivated candidate to join our Operations Department at a credit union that has earned the highest rating in the country for its Safety and Soundness.

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:  Accurately perform transactions via telephone, mail or in person with a positive and sincere attitude. Discuss products and services offered at Certified FCU and answer many different types of questions as they relate to members’ accounts. Solve issues for members with courtesy, professionalism and knowledge. Recognize fraudulent checks and counterfeit currency. Work efficiently and accurately.

QUALIFICATIONSThe candidate must possess outstanding telephone communication skills while demonstrating a positive, upbeat attitude. Candidate must be willing to work a flexible schedule between 7am and 7pm.  The candidate must also be able to handle confidential information with the utmost integrity.  Previous cash-handling and telephone customer service with a financial institution preferred. Communication in Spanish is a plus.

Salary range commensurate with experience:  $18.55 to $27.83

FULL-TIME SR. COLLECTOR
EL MONTE BRANCH

Certified Federal Credit Union is seeking an experienced and motivated candidate to work as a Sr. Collector in the Special Accounts Department at a credit union that has earned the highest rating in the country for its Safety and Soundness.

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:  Contact members to obtain short-term delinquent payments.  Determine member’s status and gather information. Arrange for payment and schedule to bring short-term delinquent loans current.  Efficiency and accuracy are required with some filing.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Must have three to five years of experience and be current with all Fair Collection policies and procedures.  Must have detailed knowledge and proven experience with collection activities. Must have a working knowledge of skip tracing techniques.  Must be able to handle a high volume of calls with courtesy, tact and diplomacy.  Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.

Salary range:  $22.81 to $34.21
