Consumer Loan Officer | El Monte Branch
Full-Time

Certified Federal Credit Union is seeking an experienced and motivated candidate to join our Consumer Loan department at a credit union that has earned the highest rating in the country for its Safety and Soundness.

General Job Description: Processing and approving loans in compliance with Federal regulations and credit union lending policies.  Responsible for loading, underwriting and approving consumer loans.

Qualifications: The candidate will be responsible for assessing risk on potential member loans.  This presents an exciting opportunity for a talented, self-directed, motivated candidate to work in a creative and collaborative team environment.

Advanced education is preferred.  Candidate must have a minimum of three to five years of underwriting experience with risk-based lending.  Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, primarily Excel and Word.  The candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills and Spanish speaking is a plus.  Experience with ALPS and/or FSP software program and DMV processing also a plus.

The candidate must be self-motivated and possess strong people skills, with a positive, can-do attitude and be available to work any shift between 7:00am and 7:00pm.

 

Teller  |  El Monte Branch

General Job Description:  Accurately perform member transactions via mail and in person.  Assist members with account questions and transactions as well as accurately negotiate the sale of non-monetary instruments such as gift cards and amusement park tickets.  Recognize fraudulent checks and counterfeit currency.  Answer Member Service calls as needed with a positive, upbeat attitude.  Work efficiently and accurately.

Telephone Member Service Rep | El Monte Branch
Full-Time

Certified Federal Credit Union is seeking an experienced and motivated candidate to join our Contact Center at a credit union that has earned the highest rating in the country for its Safety and Soundness.

General Job Description: Assist members over the telephone with a positive and sincere attitude.  Discuss products and services offered at Certified FCU and answer many different types of questions as they relate to members’ accounts.  Solve issues for members with courtesy, professionalism and knowledge.  Accurately perform transactions.

Qualifications: The candidate must possess outstanding telephone communication skills in Spanish and English while demonstrating a positive, upbeat attitude.  Candidate must be willing to work a flexible schedule between 7am and 7pm.  The candidate must also be able to handle confidential information with the utmost integrity.  Previous telephone customer service with a financial institution preferred.  Opportunity for advancement.
